The ideal candidate must be bilingual, have two-to-four years experience in family law and litigation, an interest in prosecutorial work and be willing to travel. Riopelle Group Professional Corporation is accepting applications for summer student positions at its Timmins and Orleans offices. Applicants must be studying in a post-secondary institution, be able to communicate in both English and French and, ideally, have an interest in pursuing a career in the legal field. The successful candidates will be supporting teams within several practice areas. A valid driver’s licence and clean driving record is an asset. Intermediate Bookkeeper or Junior Accountant
Riopelle Group Professional Corporation, a full-service law office in Timmins, is accepting applications for a full-time intermediate bookkeeper or junior accountant. The successful applicant will have a post-secondary diploma in bookkeeping or accounting and/ or relative work experience, and have knowledge of accounting software.
As part of the finance team, our ideal candidate shall:
- Reconcile invoices, accounts payable, accounts receivable, credit card and banking statements.
- Manage company ledgers.
- Prepare deposits.
- Work and train with senior finance team members.
- Post financial transactions to accounts and prepare financial statements.
- Remit HST, corporate taxes and levies.
- Be involved in the budgetary process.
- Have knowledge of trust accounting.
- Prepare financial reports.
- Effectively communicate financial concepts with team members.
- Work 37.5 hours per week at a manageable pace and in a welcoming office environment.
