Alexandra M. Barthos earned her Juris Doctor in law from Western University in London, Ontario and an Honours Bachelor of Arts degree in Philosophy from McMaster University in Hamilton, Ontario. She articled with Markle Schmid Munoz LLP and later went on to operate her own law firm, AMB Law in Toronto. She was called to the Bar in 2016.
Areas of Practice
Alexandra serves as Federal Crown for all federal offences, conducting prosecutions under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act, Income Tax Act, Excise Act and other Federal Statutes on behalf of the Public Prosecutions Service of Canada for the districts of Cochrane, Temiskaming and Sudbury. Alexandra is the lead litigation lawyer for RG.
Alexandra is a member of the Law Society of Ontario and she is a Board of Directors member with the Cochrane Law Association.
Alexandra is an annual participant and team leader in the Terry Fox Foundation Run/Walk.
